  March 29, 2020 - It has been almost a year since I last opened a bottle. I gave it 30 minutes in the glass, but definitely could have used longer. I enjoyed the wine with appetizers of cheese and olives and less so with our main of blackened salmon sliders. There is now a noticeable plummy, jammy sweetness to the wine that fought with the meal. I didn't really enjoy it and would be careful about my food selection next time I open a bottle. That being said, still a great QPR and a good everyday drinker, although I probably wouldn't buy more.

  December 9, 2019 - Tasted after bottle opan an hour, med+ density ruby/plum color, inviting nose, med mouthfeel, med+ length finish with some oak, wife prefers it over cabs, no-fuss daily drinker, scored Gold at Denver IWC, amazing QPR at $9 Black Friday sale.

  November 24, 2019 - Bold, Full, Dark berries, Chocolatey, Inky, Graphite, Leather and Rock. Much bigger than I expected. Tried pairing with some pork ragu and polenta, and the pairing was not great. The next day had a standalone glass, and it tasted better without the food pairing.
