  July 15, 2021 - An inky, violet wine with moderately intense aromas of saddle leather, black cherry cream and plum sauce, a little bell pepper, the palate offers additional flavors of baking spice, coffee and a savory, minerally finish. The wine has mouth-coating tannins and a moderately long finish. This is a very good midweek Bordeaux.

  December 2, 2019 - Drinking well now; will hold a bit longer. Notes of red berries, cassis, mushroom & graphite, (licorice?). I could pair this with a flank steak.

  October 16, 2019 - Needed something easy to match with lamb chops. this is purplish in the glass and dominated by the merlot which is the biggest component here (80%-duh). easy to drink and enjoyable, although not built for the long haul
