April 7, 2024 - One hour decant. Deep dark ruby magenta color. Blackberry, toasted rye, plum, milk chocolate, mushroom dust, graphite, and subtle fig. Smooth, dry palate, with good, lingering acidity. Firm, full tannins on the longish finish.
This is rich, complex, and pleasantly aged. It may be just beyond its peak for my palate. It’s also an entry-level blend, meant to drink early. Pretty great for the price point.3 people found this helpful Comments (3) -

September 17, 2023 - Pretty solid as all the previous bottles. This one just a tad off from previous ones. Drinkable from the pnp but does a tad better after a 1 hour decant now. Did not improve further over another 2-3 hours as I expected it to. Notes/flavors as before.
