February 7, 2009 - Popped and poured, nose of cedar, leather, dark fruits along w/dark chocolate. Very appealing aromas. This is a full bodied wine, w/chewy texture and some strong tannins. Drank w/neighbor who enjoyed. Jumped on winery website, did not realize the winery is owned by Rob Mondavi (son of Peter). Very nice effort, and a good value, in this price range of $13-$15 or so.

April 7, 2007 - Around the World in a Cab(ernet) (Farpointe Cellar): Not a bad wine. The nose had raspberry, oak, cherry, and a touch of tobacco. The palate was raspberry and cedar, plus a bit of cherry and spice. The finish was good.
