March 10, 2023 - Hafliðasmakk, án Hafliða og þó. (Hlíðarás 10): Jóker kvöldsins. Dökkt og liturinn unglegur. Hangikjöt og hangiflot í nefi. Ásamt svo brennisteini og brenndu gúmmíi. Á tungu mátti svo finna brómber, lakkrís og kaffi. Tannín áberandi.

December 10, 2021 - Pop and pour but I would recommend an hour decant as it's quite closed without breathing. This is a delicious, bold red with spicy blue and black fruit, buoyant acid, supple tannins and lingering finish. A well-made wine.

June 2, 2021 - Grandes Pagos de Espana Tasting. 100% old vine, organic Bobal from 800m elevation vineyards. Very dark ruby. Med (+) nose of ripe red and black fruit and sweet baking spices due to 18 mos in French oak barrels. Dry, with med (+) to high acidity, med (+), grippy tannins and high alcohol (14%). Med (+) body and length. Still quite youthful at 5 yrs, it appears to be quite age-worthy. Give it time. Solid QPR.

November 27, 2020 - Zoom smakk Eðalklúbbs #2 (Út um allt eiginlega.): Frekar dökkt. Ungur litur. Einnar þrúgu vín. 100%. Flottur ilmur. Þungur. Höfugur. Dökkir ávextir. Kaffi. Erfitt að greina. Kirsuber og karamella. Píputóbak , blautt. Sætur ilmur. Samanrekinn og gríðarlega flottur ilmur.
Í munninum: Frekar beiskt. Ekki mikil eik. Mjúk tannín. Mjög sýruríkt. Ágætis jafnvægi. Þarf langa umhellingu. Jarðarber í bragði. Kakóduft. Þurrkar upp munninn. Kirsuber.

November 6, 2019 - Informal Tasting of Spanish Wines (Praelum Wine Bistro): Chocolatey aromas., and a little minty. Tannins are pretty hard still despite the apparent efforts to soften, and quite a lot of blackberry fruits, over the spicy peppers and leafy herbs and twigs. Nice one!
