January 17, 2024 - 3 hour slo-ox. Red berry, anise, violets, distinctive Lpv cassis, plum. Medium-full bodied. Meh -All hat and no cattle. Enjoyed the first glass but it underperformed after that for it's pedigree after that. Coravined in and drank over 3 days and it became less likeable. 2017 was not a great year for most napa wineries and I passed on most unless the winery would boot me off their allocation list...schrader does. Disappointing at the $225 release price ($250+ with tax and shipping). Win a few lose a few. 92 first glass, 89 last one. I do not see how this will improve with more time.

January 6, 2024 - Dark, dense and very powerful. A good wine, but maybe I didn't decant enough, it was a bit too powerful for me.

May 1, 2021 - Dark fruit all the way. Wanted to try it but WAY too young. This one needs at least 10 more years.
