April 7, 2013 - Ouderwetse C9dP met boerenstal en gebraden vlees, zwart fruit en provencaalse kruiden. Nog verassend levendig voor een basiscuvee van 25 jaar oud. Chapeau!

April 6, 2013 - Red brown/brick color. In the bouquet barnyard and still some spiciness. On the palate very mature but still pleasurable for a wine which is in fact over the top. There were impressions of tea, mushrooms, iron, iodine and soft chocolate. No score.

July 6, 2010 - Decidedly old school and a little agricultural with initial whiffs of tar, smoked meats, cedar and polished boot leather. It is very savoury and a tad hard at first but with the benefit of a little air some sweeter notes of raisin and raspberry come to the fore. A wine of good flavour and character that is still quite fresh and vibrant.
