Community Tasting Notes 1

April 21, 2023 - Medium red with reflections of ruby. Straightforward but not uncomplicated, this feels very Beaune-like with its mix of fresh red and black cherry, tomato leaf, loamy earth, brick and spice flavors. Medium bodied with medium+ acidity, tight, slightly grippy tannins and an expansive, rich mouthfeel. This certainly isn't rustic but it might lack a little refinement for a 1er Cru. I appreciate its gutsiness, though.
