March 21, 2013 - Beautiful, in a perfect place right now. Colour still fairly youthful, beautiful Barolo bouquet of roses, tar and red fruits - carries thru to a similar palate, classic and elegant, showing nice complexity, a pleasure to simply smell. Very good length. Old school done right.

September 18, 2009 - Drank with Polenta encrusted veal with mushroom demiglaze. Wonderful aromas, however just not ready yet. Tannins still gripping. Did not open on second night. Give this bottle another 4-5 years...
