February 5, 2022 - Further to my Note of Oct. 20, '19: this is #2. A bit more evolved--fragrant, restrained flavor--still young. Will wait a while before trying my last bottle.

October 6, 2021 - Solid Pinot with strawberry, red raspberry, soft earth. Nothing spectacular but does the job.

November 22, 2020 - Typical Pinot with strawberry, cranberry and cherry notes. Medium body and acidity. Darn good for the $20 I paid.

March 22, 2020 - This wine has put on a little weight over the last year. On the nose, a hint of forest floor and lots of cherry. In the mouth, light with the cherry and forest floor coming through with well integrated tannins. Needs a little time to air in order to open. This wine is a little disappointing in the mouth as the nose suggests a bigger mouth feel. However, this is still an enjoyable wine.

October 20, 2019 - Bought 3b for 25/b two months ago from WL. Saw this at various Burgundy locations in FR last spring for 30+ euros/b and decided to give it a try; best global Searcher price is $29+/b. No decant but should have: this is still young. Medium ruby; fragrant, restrained; good red fruit, good mouthfeel. Needs considerably more time--hope to wait at least 2 years before next try. Stored horizontally in a cool, dark basement since purchase. My evaluation: For me, scores on a "100-point scale" are misleading. I use a 4-category scale (perhaps with +/-)--not including flawed--which runs outstanding/notable/drinkable/poor. For now, this is notable when considering quality, age, and price; but I consider this preliminary.
