May 9, 2020 - A lovely, medium-bodied ruby-burgundy. Dusty bramble fruits on the nose - deep and jammy in the most positive way; some gentle black pepper. Gently spicy blackberries to taste, nice integrated tannins. More-ish. Black fruit and some bramble leaf. This feels like the best end of simple, but with some complexity too.

January 10, 2020 - Ruby, with a hint of crimson. Very slightly earthy nose, with cooked fruits but then a sharp, raspberry-like edge; this feels 'livelier' to judge by the nose than the many other bottles of this we have had, and maybe even a little more pinot-esque. Some dark spaces - mixed peppercorns and maybe even allspice. Fruity yet dry to taste. Bramble fruits with some acidic red berries coming through the middle. Fresh yet a hint of earthiness. A wine with plenty of apparent contradictions but balance and joy even more.

December 28, 2019 - Very pure burgundy colour. Lightly-roasted fruits on the nose - black with a little red and some spice; a slightly confected, intense edge. Brambly flavours - red and black fruits. Very dry but still juicy. A nice, clear structure and a sour fruit finish.
