January 29, 2021 - brown orange in color.. warmed candied walnuts with a hint of orange juice on the nose. on the palate thick viscous. sweet but not candy sweet.. the sugar was present but not overwhelming. vanilla, caramel, molasses with a finish of citrus that seemed to almost clean the palate for the next sip.

December 1, 2020 - Raisen, caremel. Good balance. Good for a 10 year and at this price. Was first opened over a year ago and rotated trough this and other Madeira’s. Flavors only improved.

November 21, 2020 - Toffee, caramel, toasted nuts...Not overly sweet, just right. A slight tannic pinch...All the good things you love about a well aged Madeira. This is what sets Madeira apart from port. Lacks the duration to be anything exotic, but its short and lovely.

February 18, 2018 - I've been slowly drinking this bottle (interspersed with other Madeiras) for over 1 year. It keeps getting better. Good depth and finish. Brown in color, caramel and some smokiness. Not nearly as good as 15 year, but a great improvement over 5 years or generic Madeira.
