February 15, 2023 - Decanted and let sit for 90 min to warm from cellar temp. Underwhelming -- has faded, and seems to be on the downhill side. I certainly won't cellar it any longer.

October 25, 2020 - Opened for four hours. Not much nose but with excellent height of dried orange peel and a law library book collection. Tightly wound mouth with lots of tannins but big. Violets and 85% dark chocolate. Medium finish with good acid but no defining characteristics.
This might need a few more hours of opening so could be a few years before it is at its peak. Small amount of sediment so not overly filtered.
