December 10, 2023 - A bit darker than the 09 Billecart BdB, nice pecan/ripe peach pit notes; slight sweet softer attack than the '09, good depth with some tertiary aging showing. Good concentration, Nice but wish it were slightly fresher. Newport Seafood Champagne Lunner.

On the palate: fantastic acidity, pink grapefruit, peach, lime, vanilla, amazingly fine mousse, velvety mouthfeel. A glorious btl of champagne. That being said, still very primary and likely a lot of room to improve!

August 20, 2022 - This was excellent but had just a very slight hint of nuttiness going on, slightly darker, good concentration and power, but not clean enough for some of the tiny kumamoto oysters, and slightly dirty enough for the briney funky oysters. L&E oyster bar w/T

October 8, 2021 - A Tour de Force 'Best Bottle' Tasting (Republique, Los Angeles): A delicious palate refresher as we were getting ready to move on from table wines, and my first encounter with this producer. It was fresh, bright and energetic, loaded with Chardonnay characteristics alongside a bit of saline. A sweet but nimble finish.

December 29, 2020 - Excellent nose of light saline, vinous, minerals, with a fruit character somewhere between peach pit and the skin with a little fresh white fruits and lemon; nice yeasty note, sugar cookie with lemon drop; mid to lighter weight, crisp, clean for 14 years old although just the faintest coloration going on, just starting it's secondary aging period. Disgorged in 7/2018 with 6g/l. Don't notice it at all, I think it's just right. Very nice complement to sushi dinner w/S&L
