March 11, 2024 - Decanted for an hour. A very nice racy wine, with good acidity and dark fruits, and a hint of vanilla. Rich now and in a good spot for drinking. Held up well to a tomato based pasta sauce.

Concentrated, precise core of mulberry and black fruits, fresh persistent acid, a distinct floral, violet aromatic edge and very present, powdery, drying tannins. Weighty, but with finesse. I have no benchmark for comparing this wine but I found it very satisfying.
