  August 12, 2020 - Red berries, lightly savoury. The soft, aged, character is the varietal. PM does not have much structure. A fair bit of interest for the role intended for the wine. My favourite new summer red this year.

  August 10, 2019 - Dark pink in the glass, almost red. Light aromas of berry fruit with a veil of funk dominating for the first 30 minutes. Let it breath in the glass. The palate doesn't really deliver structurally - one gets a wine that has an interesting character on the aroma front, but doesn't offer much depth or character. There is a bit of acidity, but not enough. There is a bit of fruit, but not enough. So far I've felt exactly the same about all Mac Forbes' wines unfortunately.

  December 12, 2018 - Wine Wednesday - Mac Forbes (Different Drops, Fig Street, Ultimo): A little ash, strawberry over sour cherry, smells a little funky and a little fresh. And so it proves on the palate, sourly juicy, fleshy, wet, subdued fruit, a little burr, finishes bitter but travels long. Hmm
