May 8, 2022 - Nose: bramble, oak, blackberry, cherry, cinnamon. Palate: blackberry, leather, high tannins, salty meat, forest floor, thyme, cocoa.

September 7, 2021 - A little more restrained than prior Tikal bottles we have bought, but it was smooth and elegant, meaty, fruity without it being an in your face fruit bomb. Went down very easy and even though lighter, quite good depth and finish. A regular for us each vintage, this one is a DRINK NOW.

April 3, 2021 - Second bottle after about 9 months, nice development. Raspberry and smoke on the nose. Very nice balance, raspberry, leather, smooth, little acidity, low tannins, cocoa, long finish.

December 19, 2020 - Hey Santa, you know there are these things called 'vintages'
    "Mendoza?"
    Yes, even California
    "Meshugenah!"
Hey, hey, hey, don't be an oyster
"Listen, chief, I got this letter here that says you wanted Bordax. Last I looked...
No, no, all the dried blackberries are there, but now they ain't so dry, gnome sayin
    "I give, & I give, & I give . . .
And you're GREAT at it, DON'T Change, but there's this guy, Robert Parker, & he's taking the wine world by storm, and he says Mendoza was wet AF in 2015, so you may want to BDFU on 2015 Mendoza
    "((((Sigh))))"
    What
"I went deep on 2015 Mendoza futures in 2013"
Here. Have a beer. You're still the f'n man. You 1, Columbus 2, Abe Roosevelt also 2. Slainte, mate
