June 25, 2019 - I like it, but I'm not sure I fully understand it. It's got a bit of an earthy quality on the nose, along with some sweet fruit and spice. In the mouth it's got acidity but nothing like what an Italian Sangiovese would present. Very pure, good medium weight, nice finish if a little short. It's a pleasant easy drinking wine, but not alluring or compelling. Enjoyable now. I wonder what it'll do down the road?
