December 30, 2020 - This has a nice ruby color no signs of aging yet although it’s at the end of its first decade. On the nose, greeted by red fruits and berries along with polished leather, some wood and light hints of minerals showing but mainly dominated by the floral and fruits.On the pallate, medium+ body, very nice rounded/polished tannins supporting its elegance and smoothness. Continuity of the red fruits with some hint of smoke or tobacco. Very elegant and finely balanced wine. Still on the rise! But very good showing if you give it some time to breathe. Excellent for a 3rd! Really shows the quality that chateau margaux can produce.

July 10, 2020 - Aerated, then double decanted. Let rest 1.5hrs. Right off the start: graphite, strawberry, blueberry and plum on the bouquet similar to first wine. Glorious wine, can't believe the QPR. Highly recommended if you can find it thru the proper channels. Body: Light. Palette: red fruits, crushed limestone, subtle tobacco, latte, hint of green pepper (but super subtle). Amazing balance and structure mouthfeel. Rounded, smooth, velvet. Like all Chateau Margaux's it has that laser precision with delicate attributes. Like the most beautiful fashion model of your dreams with a PHD in quantum physics. Just like the 1st wine this the third tier down still has the aspects which make this Chateau so distinctive. NEED MORE!! Drink now thru 2025.
