July 31, 2021 - This opens up rather well, with dried rose petals, sarsaparilla, rosemary, plum sauce and hot rocks. There’s mineral during the long, juicy finish. The body is on the full side and the tannins are starchy, yet attractively soft. After an hour in the decanter, the layers really start to show the potential. Drink 2023 - 2035.
