October 17, 2023 - PnP, consumed over 3 hours. Appearance: Clear, pale ruby with some light clouding and browning on the edge. Nose: Clean, medium intensity showing a smokey note which dissipated within 30 minutes with developing aromas of cherry, cranberry, forest floor, rose bush, and pine needles persisting over time. Palate: Dry, medium+ acid, medium tannin, medium body, medium intensity, 13.5% abv with flavors of sour cherry, cranberry, and spice with stem-like notes in the back-end and a medium+ finish.

    Balance: Excellent
    Length: Excellent
    Intensity: Very good
    Complexity: Excellent

Overall, an excellent Willamette Pinot showing some development but with plenty of shelf life left. Can drink now or over next 2-4 years.

December 23, 2022 - Exactly how I like my Pinot. Farmyard nose, sour cherry and sweet rhubarb. Very similar to an excellent 2014 Santenay Charmes I enjoyed a couple of years ago. Delicious.
