December 10, 2023 - Viognier goes well with the Shiraz. Nice cheap bottle.

March 9, 2023 - Freak wine. Very expressive on the nose, showing pretty aromas of crushed dark berries, cedar and spice. This is medium-to-full bodied and quite elegant in texture and weight for an Aussie Shiraz. Immediately fills the mouth with an explosion of plum, black cherry and boysenberry fruit. There's excellent depth and focus to this. The Viognier in the blend gives this plenty of lift and keeps it from seeming flabby. Finishes incredibly long, with lingering notes of licorice, black tea, cracked pepper and a hint of citrus. Complex, harmonious and flat-out delicious. Amazing quality for a wine that costs less than $10.

December 20, 2020 - having with roast chicken as viognier is one of the few reds that go well with it when I searched dr. google
this is the appetizer wine, decanting a bottle of Priorat for the next course
