  December 3, 2023 - The 17 Bachelet Gevrey VV was truly exceptional with sweet and pure purple fruit. It was ethereal and precise with alluring sweetness. Possibly one of the best, ready to drink Burgundy, at this price point.

  November 27, 2022 - Needed a little bit of air to soften, and turned into a wine with lovely red fruits, earthiness, baking spices, a long finish, a little bit of harshness still.

  August 31, 2022 - Excellent aroma and purity. A red fruit driven Gevrey that is difficult not to like. It is seductive and sexy.

  June 17, 2022 - These 17s are so charming, this one in particular had lovely candied fruit, and a weighty, velvety texture that was almost 18 like. This wine was plush, felt fully destemmed in its profile, red fruited with a hint of black tea. not a ton of spice or complexity but so inviting and friendly. Not a bad crossover wine either I think.

  April 30, 2022 - Intoxicating red, blue and candied fruit. Ultra silky and feminine on the palate with moderate plus grip. The purity of its fruit is at a new level compared to many other vintages of Bachelet's wine. Excellent village.
