    January 23, 2011 - Taste at Elysian.
Quality juice. Dark raisinated fruit. Still that peppery jam you get from Zin. Really nice. Not overdone.

September 6, 2010 - starting to loose its fruit but still nice. Not to sweet or syrupy.

October 24, 2009 - A tad overpriced maybe, but very good. It takes a while to get by the strong alcohol/brandy smell on the nose. The reward is wonderful mouth filling taste: lots of dried fruit tastes - raisins, prunes, dates - and hints of berries and cassis. Finish is first class - very smooth, melting, and long enough to let the flavors mingle around.

July 12, 2009 - Started off beautiful. After 30 minutes or so had varnishy taste.

April 21, 2008 - Nose: Not as "hot" as most ports. More fruit with a cedar and slight cigar/tobacco.
Taste: Baked fruit with a little nut taste. Smooth and balanced. Would never guess this is 20% alcohol. Long finish.
A little too much oak for me.

Not a good QPR - too expensive and 375 ml for 88 points.
