Community Tasting Notes 7

April 26, 2022 - A wonderful Bourgogne- aromatically detailed, pretty red/dark fruits intermingle on the nose. Palate wise, nicely balanced gaining weight and sweetness of fruit in the glass throughout the evening, and a wonderful pairing to pan seared pork chops smothered in mushroom-dijon sauce. The bottle is emptied before you know it and that is never a bad thing.

September 1, 2021 - pretty scents of cherries, strawberries and red flowers on the nose, excellent mouthfeel, liquified mineral, cherry pit, raspberry and hibiscus tea flavors, fresh and vibrant energy, beautiful and young, classy, continues to open up layers of texture in the glass

August 15, 2021 - I’m beginning to believe in the moon and the starts when drinking burgundy !! Haha no maybe not but this bottle was totally bland compared the most all the other ones I’ve tasted perhaps 4. No explosion of cool red fruits this time just watery restraint fruit and oak showing - and NO I didn’t have a curry!! :-) you can’t win them all and perhap this wine is as just in an angry mood today and didn’t want to come out and play in the mortal words of Twisted Sister/ The Warriors. We will be back :-)

    May 30, 2021 - It’s a stunning young Bourgogne rouge - simple
As that. The oak can calm down some more but this is really all what you want in a Bourgogne rouge

August 4, 2020 - 92-93 Color is that of ruby. Nose is a bit reticent with hints of raspberries and mild beechwood. Palate is light acidity and finer tannins with cherry undertones. Finish is medium with red fruits. Lighter in character but the fruit is defined and the wine is warm and long. Not as concentrated as I would have expected for NSG, but very practical.
