November 25, 2021 - Grand Cru Chardonnay (The four seasons hotel, the rocks, sydney): Rich, butter, polished oak over stone fruit, slightly reductive, smells quite round as well. medium plus intensity acidity is a little sharp and the fruit tends to the citrus rather than stone fruit, oak is very present. Too young and out of whack for me at the moment.

May 8, 2021 - Blinded, and decanted for about 3 hours when we got into it. Initially crazy expressive fruit. Peach, pear, apples combined with lively acidity that just zips. Followed for 3 more hours, and by the end it felt shut down. Lemon/lime notes dominates, with loads of oak. When it was on, it was great.
