  April 17, 2024 - Decanted 30 minutes before service - modest levels of fine sediment during the decant. In the glass, clear pinkish-red at the rim, shading quickly to a dark, clear red core. On the nose, ripe strawberries and cherries, with a touch of lemon thyme in the background. On the palate, silky smooth, full of ripe cherries, yet light on its feet, with slate, bright herbs, and nutmeg rounding out the palate. A very nice pinot.

  April 9, 2024 - First of these we've opened. First night lighter color; cherry and earth nose, one-dimensional. Same on the palate. Tasted against a 2019 Walter Hansel, which we preferred. Second night: this became darker, richer and fuller, was almost the equal of the Hansel, which we still liked a bit better.

  March 6, 2024 - Very delicious and rewarding of the patience we've shown this one. It developed some real character and has excellent fruit. Drank over several days.

  November 26, 2023 - More Burgundian than jammy for a Sonoma product. Super smooth. Spectacular!
