April 27, 2024 - Very ripe, Rich, and full. The volume is dialled up to 9 and it’s quite complex aromatically. Somewhat short of acidity, it comes off a bit hot and flabby as it warms.

November 17, 2023 - The wine of the night and one that I just st loved ! Was told ....this is old vine bottling from the central core of Chateau de la Tour's vineyards. The wine is ripe, complex fruit which is forward, and yet very fresh. It is so viscous in mouth that the feel of the underbrush and mushroom seems like I had sticks and leaves in the flavor profile. Finish is worn leather, more mushroom and slight prune fruit.

November 17, 2022 - Domaine Visit. Really nice and a step up from the normal cuvee. Complex, elegant, oak, liquorice, red fruit, dusty tannins.

August 26, 2022 - Thank you, Alex for the taste, nose of black cherry, red cherry, hints of earth and saddle leather, same on the palate, big body, fruit forward, great producer and great example of Clos Vougeot, mouth filling fruit, bright, fresh, and delicious, and a long, long finish.

August 12, 2022 - Intense, complex and very smooth CdV.
A great expression of CdV and truly GC level.
Very old vines gives an intense red fruited wine. A bit of toasted elements from the oak and a fresh tense juiciness makes the wine fresh, elegant and long.
The wine is surprisingly approachable and open already now. Surely it will keep adding layers and complexity with further cellaring, but really a delight already.
