December 10, 2021 - Orange, fennel, bitter almond. To me, less Moscato than Umbrian, albeit more complete. Maybe it's the weight balancing the bitter almond, or perhaps it's some almost imperceptible herbal element that keeps things classy, but typicity be damned, this is delicious. I could drink this every week from now until Christmas. Canadian Christmas

August 29, 2021 - Medium golden. The most recent notes below describe it well. Indeed, we might have thought somewhat viscous Viognier, if blind. Also, yes, a hint of stone fruit bitterness. Substantially more body and character compared with typical nearby Sancerre. This was pleasant enough over three nights — yet we are not itching for more.

    June 7, 2021 - Tasted over 2 hrs
    -translucent light gold
    -delicate grassy floral
-just med acidity, med/med- weight with some viscosity minimal fruit but a pronounced bitter herb spine that carries through the finish
-not very familiar with this Appellation but this is quite substantial for a sauvignon blanc-based Loire wine to the point of almost being flabby

July 7, 2020 - My first time to try a wine from this appellation. Hardly recognizable as sauv blanc in my opinion. It has some fuzzy candied apricot notes you find in muscat, and a little kiwi. Enough soapy lavender to suggest viogner. Acidity is up there but set off balance by a harshly bitter note on the finish. It’s a hard pass from me.

    May 26, 2020 - Served blind
    Pale yellow gold
    Light Muscat aromas
Round, almost off dry light Muscat flavors.
I was convinced this was a light Muscat or Sauvignon Musque
Perhaps off from other CT notes, but cannot deny the Muscat notes.
