March 10, 2020 - Okay, we "lost" this wine in our euro cave. And based on RP's Vintage Chart, this wine should be past its prime consumed by 2017)... Far from it! This was one of the best Rhone wines we've opened in a LONG time. It is at its peak... perfectly balanced on the nose, palate and long in the finish.
I have a common phrase for this kind of wine: damn, I wish I had another bottle, or case! Sadly, this was the last. And ironically, we were going to take it to Girl and the Fig for dinner tomorrow night. Oh well!
If you got one, open it, let it sit a hour or so, and ENJOY!
    Delicious!

January 19, 2019 - A one-time, one-barrel production by Winery 16600 (Sam Coturri) for the girl & the fig, the 2009 Projet de Vie is one of the finest Syrahs I've ever tasted. I purchased this when there were only five (5) bottles left on the shelf at the Rhone Room. Aged 25 months in neutral oak and six years in the bottle, this dark purple, full-bodied treasure brims with class and personality. A unique and highly rewarding tasting experience. 14.5% abv. D/H.
