September 10, 2021 - 15.2% abv. Dark, deep, long and rich - and very delicious and well behaved. Will only get better over the next decade or more.

April 3, 2021 - Decanted for 45 minutes. Luscious, smooth, dark fruit, anise, with some nice spice. Really enjoyed this vintage. Drinking wonderfully now.

September 16, 2020 - 30 minutes opened non decanted.
A creamy and spice driven wine at the start. Aromatically it is restrained and really not a factor in this note, but in mouth this wine sings. In mouth the wine is fresh Blueberry, some raspberry and white pepper. In the mid palette I get bell pepper and some oregono. The finish is more spice driven and nuanced. All amidst the fresh licorice and berry driven lingering notes.
