  April 5, 2021 - This is a very nice, big robust Syrah. Lots of structure, nice nose, long finish. Delicious!

  March 9, 2021 - Deep indigo Syrah color. Velvety mouth feel. Blackberry and blueberry fruit. Then a transition to tobacco, a touch of meatiness. Long smooth finish with definite tannins, but not the least bit astringent.
  
  7/25/2022 Same punch of fruit, but not as much of the secondary notes. Still has that long finish. By the second day it was getting a bit flabby.

  May 2, 2020 - Twisted open and poured into my glass and let the wine open up.
  Dark purple color.
  Nose offers black fruits with a hint of oak and some cigar tobacco/cinnamon bark.
  Good dark fruit flavors with sufficient acidity to give it lift. Not heavy in the mouth. Leans towards a more fruited side than a savory and funky syrah.
  The wine is listed at 15.1% abv but does not show heat from the alcohol.

  Put the cap back on and refrigerated. Tasted the following day. It was even better with a rich round profile of dark cherry and some leather and tobacco elements.

  March 25, 2019 - Best wine I've had this year. Lots of red and blue fruit. A touch of sweetness on the palate. Smooth texture. Long finish. Soft tannins. Need to get some more.
