January 31, 2024 - 30 minute decant. Nose of black plum and fine cigar ash. Black fruit, dark earth, wet clay, light dried herbs, and a pronounced mineral note on the palate. Mineral note leads the finish, adding metallic notes, oily black olive, and lead over black plum fruit and oak.

June 5, 2023 - Great value CdP I gave this one an hour of air before serving. The wine is powerful and still young but definitely enjoyable. Notes of earth, plumb, and spice.

May 18, 2023 - Domaine Roger Sabon - Cuvee Reserve 2017. Dark ruby color. Roasted meet, garrigue and blackberry in the nose, some pepper. The wine is full bodied and has a great concentration. Fine tanins are present well balanced with the acidity. Lovely at the palate with a long stay of black fruits. Love this wine and the Domain !
