December 14, 2012 - Cork broke while opening - but wine was in great shape. Oldest of the Martin Estate wines I have to date - shows great promise for my stash of more recent vintages as this had aged wonderfully. Distinctive Rutherford dust, dark berries, black currants and wonderful balance. Drinking really well right now.

May 16, 2012 - Young wine with great structure. Big and tight, not ready yet to drink. Has promise. Profile of chocolate and cherries. Has a lot of character, almost of late harvest. Let it rest a few more years.
