October 21, 2023 - 40th anniversary tasting (L'Esprit du Vin - Axelborg): My notes from this fantastic gigantic tasting are in general extremely short (because of the many wines) but with ratings. We spent a whole day tasting and tasting quality wines.
This wine: SSA - without sulfur! This was interesting! It is the first Sauternes I have ever tasted without sulfur. Unfortunately I have no written notes, but I really liked it. 90+. However Chateau Grillon is not at the same level as (traditional) Rieussec or Suduiraut.
