  March 7, 2022 - The green notes I mentioned in my previous TN seem to be evolving towards more of a menthol tone, which provides a nice counterpoint to the black fruits. There’s a little spice in the finish that provides some complexity, as well. Opened this with homemade beef stew tonight and it was a solid pairing.

  January 2, 2022 - As a few notes have mentioned, there do appear to be some vegetal notes in this wine. As off-putting as that sounds, it actually wasn’t so at all. Really. And I’m someone who generally abhors any green notes in Cabernet. This was a very nice wine with a medium (+) body, a pleasing palate of ripe dark fruits and earth, a hint of what I would call root vegetables, and a clean, mildly tannic finish. It was a terrific companion to our steaks last night, and I’m happy to have one more in the cellar.

  March 16, 2021 - Very nice, my first Cab from Stellareese. Upon a sip right after popping the cork, I am not at all getting the vegetative qualities that another mentioned, but noticing it slightly after a few minutes, as it warms up perhaps. Some fruits and a nice body. But, it isn't completely well rounded -- little zing on the tongue. Let's see how it tastes on the 2nd evening...

Jk but not in a bad way, but not what you would anticipate from Napa terroir, maybe Blind I would almost guess Italian. It feels well made, more European In style.
