January 10, 2024 - Chardonnay tasting (at my home): Nose:
Fruity: Ripe peach, pink grapefruit, guava, with hints of pineapple and tangerine.
Floral: Orange blossoms, acacia honey, with subtle notes of jasmine and honeysuckle.
Spiced: Hints of butterscotch, toasted almonds, and nutmeg.
Mineral: Wet stones and crushed limestone add complexity.

    Palate:
Full-bodied: Rich and creamy texture, with a vibrant acidity that keeps it balanced.
Flavorful: Layers of exotic fruits and citrus, complemented by savory notes like toasted nuts and honey.
Minerality: A pronounced minerality shines through, adding depth and freshness.
Finish: Long and lingering, with a hint of spice and citrus zest.

    Overall:
A complex and nuanced Chardonnay with incredible depth and concentration.
Shows both the elegance of Burgundy and the vibrancy of California.
While built to age gracefully, it's already approachable and enjoyable now.

September 15, 2023 - Friday Night Uptown Brown Bagger (R&D's): Double blind. Light golden yellow color with notes of sawdust and apple. A bit reticent aromatically, but bright and forward on the palate. Flavors of melon, ripe pear and apple with a candied melon quality in the finish. I love the palate and just wish the bouquet showed a bit more...still a very fine chard just beginning to come into its own. 93+ pts. (R&D)

August 15, 2023 - Wow. Opulent. Montrachet like with a California spin. It does have some oxidation quality that might reflect my storage. Very enjoyable.

May 6, 2023 - Likley premox as it was deep gold & although still good, it looked & tasted like a 15-20 year old chardonnay
