December 3, 2023 - Notes of fig, raisin, and black cherry lead the way on the nose and palate, with brooding tannins flexing throughout. A bit of heat too. Hints of crushed walnuts emerge late and linger on the medium-long finish.

September 2, 2022 - From a 375ml bottle. Vibrant nose of figs and raisins, some chocolate. Full bodied, sweet, smooth and tasty, showing loads of figs and raisins, a bit chocolate and slightly oxidative notes with a long lingering finish. A darn delicious tawny port.

January 7, 2021 - Portvin & jul = sant og har vært det i snart 25 år her i huset. Colheita er en favoritt og i år er det Niepoort 2008 og Kopke 1980 som er åpnet.
Niepoort er funklende rubinrød med rustrødt fløyel innvevd. Den er ung, yngste jeg har smakt, flasket i 2019. Og den kan liksom ikke helt bestemme seg, er både ung, fruktig og frisk og moden av alder på samme tid. Jeg blir litt forvirret jeg og, særlig ved åpning for 2 uker siden. Liker jeg dette? Nå har vinen samlet seg mer, men har fortsatt litt fruktaromaer som modne moreller og plummer ved siden av svisker, nøtter, karamell og rosiner. Deilig fylde, struktur og lang lengde og kledelig sitrus i ettersmaken. Jo, jeg liker det!
