May 10, 2024 - Good bottle. It may eventually turn into something. I think that Chaves especially need time. But in these parts Gonon is 👑

December 23, 2023 - Nez leger de fruits noirs, incense… Huge nice concentration, black and blue fruit, incense… powdery tannin, lenght of 30 sec, very nice wine in the style of Chave!!

November 16, 2023 - notes of ripe berry, plum and iron on the nose, balanced with dark elegance, complete and seamless, mixed berry, plum, violet and a hint of stone on the finish, pure with polish, easy to drink and food-friendly, certainly tasty now but showing good potential to age, lovely

November 4, 2023 - Perfectly decent bottle of wine.
However it was a lot 'bigger' than I had expected. Quite black fruited and a tad hot from the 14.5% alc. Blind I'd have been guessing southern Rhone.
I had this a couple of days after a cheaper Cote Rotie, the CR was a far more elegant and interesting wine. This was a bit of a brute in comparison.
Drank well in the chill of an autumnal night but it's poor qpr.

July 31, 2023 - Great pleasure. Still young. Vibrant. Loving the spirit of this wine. Full of energy.
