  July 13, 2022 - Some oak and earth on the nose and palette. It was round and drinkable but not outstranding.

  February 7, 2021 - Had 3 bottles of the Napa Valley appellation over the course of 2019 including New Year's Eve 12/31/19. The first 2 were still fairly disjointed, a bit hot, but lots of glycerine for full body. Lean profile of Red fruits with medium short to medium finish. Not sure where it's headed yet, but the viscosity is what I remember the most, which is very strange. That shouldn't be top of mind for a wine...
  
  The NYE bottle showed a bit of progression, which I had decanted for 2 hours. Slightly more flavorful but definitely short of expectation considering the marketing and price (~$30).
  
  Will report back late Winter when I try another.

  June 14, 2020 - Needed about an hour of decanting to open up - way too harsh otherwise. Ripe red fruit at first, mellowed to black fruit but not super complex. Medium tannins, not a long finish. Easy and drinkable cab after decanting, and paired well with grilled steak. Pretty good for price point.
