October 18, 2023 - Bottle open for 1 hour and paired with pizza. Medium red color with medium gradient from rim to center. Great nose that opened up with air - menthol, rosemary / sage, red licorice, black cherry, sour cherry and tobacco.. On palate, medium+ body, medium+ acidity / tannins and long finish. Palate profile similar to nose - mouth watering acidity on finish. Great with food or on it's own. 91+

Would buy again. Wine has improved 1-2 points with age. It did need about 15 minutes of air to open up.

May 11, 2023 - Great value. Final bottle showed nicely now.

October 11, 2022 - Drank over night 1 and night 3 - still good 48 hours later. Notes from night 1. Medium red color. On nose, tart cherry, strawberry on nose with touch of menthol. On palate, similar flavor profile (plus nice herbal and tobacco notes that were not on nose) with medium body / acidity / tannins and medium+ finish. Shorter finish holding rating back. Good mid-week wine. 90+/-

March 15, 2022 - Opened 30 minutes before tasting. On nose, Plum, cranberry, strawberry and medicinal notes. medium body, medium acidity/tannins with medium+ finish. Palate consistent with nose. Very enjoyable, especially at the price!! 90+/-
would buy again. Would not be confused with a Brunello, but excellent entry level Chianti.
