January 19, 2021 - Hints of cloves, dark fruit and oak on the nose. The wine was very restrained and muted on the palate, even after hours of decanting. I’m guessing it simply needed more time in the bottle. For my first time drinking a 1er Cru burgundy, I was a bit disappointed by the lack of complexity on the nose and palate.

May 15, 2019 - France and Italy - May 6 to May 10, 2019: Aromas of black cherry, mineral-earth, spices and flowers. Rich complex structure with dense secondary layers on the mid-palate. Round tannin. Very long finish. Very nice.
