  October 7, 2022 - Obviously tight upon opening. Starts to get more expressive with air, but not a whole lot. I think this may be in a bit of a dumb phase right now. Red fruits, some blue fruit as well. The acidity is not where I want it to be. There isn’t that precise acid that I’d look for in a wine like this. Spiciness came into play with air. There is finesse here and I’m sure revisiting in 10 years will make a difference.
  
  It’s delicious and balanced, it’s not your powerful grand cru burg and chambertin’s are not known to be that. This is either in a dumb phase or intentionally toned down.
  
  Edit: After I wrote this it opened up more and I started to get more herbs, sous bois and mushrooms notes. And it became more perfumed. I enjoyed it much more.

  October 20, 2021 - Super young and austere but some decanting abs air reveals all that it has to offer. It’s a burg lovers burg. Not overdone, laser focused flavors, super classy. Will no doubt be better in 5-10 years.
