February 18, 2023 - This is gorgeous, begins with fresh strawberries and custard on the nose, violet drops, virginia tobacco, sweet green stems and soft tan leather.
Palatte is taut tart strawberry flesh with delicate powder tongue tannins, supported by developing sous bois and oyster mushroom tertiaries. God I love his 17s !

June 18, 2022 - fragrant nose of leather, with toasty and nutty notes, almost a hint of coffee, black cherries, mint and eucalyptus. Sooo fragrant some 2 hours after opening.

April 22, 2022 - Finished bottle started by Coravin.

Little to add; a good value and very enjoyable village Burgundy punching above its weight.

February 7, 2022 - Two glasses by Coravin, drunk with roast chicken.

This is really in a great place now…beautiful translucent light red, sparklingly clear in the glass, and bouquet of strawberries, cranberries, redcurrants, following through to very pure fruit with just a hint of sweetness on the palate. Savoured the last glass with some cheesy oatcakes, and a little tannin came along to support the finish.
No real tertiary notes, but who needs them when you have such wonderful pure fruit? If you have this try some now.

September 8, 2021 - Two glasses by Coravin.

Simple red fruits, redcurrant and strawberry. Good acidity, little noticeable tannin. Refreshing and versatile. Well made village wine and decent value in the context of Burgundy. No real complexity, and best drunk quite young I think.
