    February 5, 2021 - Drank at Home
Nice rich palate with some bell pepper. Still quite fruit forward

October 17, 2020 - Short note - seems a bit one dimensional, cherries and barrel, with some air comes more spice and a bit more complexity, liquorice, well balanced, medium finish which is dominated by the oak. 87p this note might seems a bit harsh, but take the price into consideration I was quite disappointed

August 28, 2020 - This was a really pleasant young Chambolle. I really liked the nose on this, with its notes of ripe red cherries and sweet berries along with a lovely lift of flowers and toasty spice. There was a smidgen of new oak on this, but this rather added to the attractiveness of the nose rather than distracting. The palate was drinking rather quite well for something so youthful, with fine velvet tannins and nicely juicy acidity wrapped around a fresh core of dark cherries and red berries seasoned with a little spice, all these leading into a nicely satisfying finish. A really neat little Chambolle village, drinking well young.

October 10, 2019 - At La Bourse et Vie in Paris. Deep dark ruby. Bright red fruit aromas and flavors w nice spicy tannins and lively acids. A little foresty stuff to help declare it a Burg. Solid. Sparked enough interest in this producer that we ordered several bottles of his wine ( chiefly village level) throughout our vacation with the ‘14 Gevrey villages coming out on top.
