January 4, 2013 - Popped and poured. Served at dinner at home. Dark purple. Anise on the nose. Medium body with good tannins and well-integrated fruit. Tastes of boysenberry and raisins. Medium finish. Would buy again.

February 4, 2008 - Almost black in color....deep deep color. Big nose dominated by cherry. Rich mouth feel with sour cherry peaking through riding on a mineral base. Very balanced on the palette and beautifully crafted. Long finish with sour gummy bears at the end. This is a monster wine but not a fruit bomb. Outside of my Porto, this is one of the better wines I've had in several years.
