Community Tasting Notes 1

December 29, 2019 - This wine is surprisingly good. I’ve had several Corras, but never a Melanson. Very elegant, with a long, smooth finish. Chocolate, pencil shavings and dark, spicy fruit. Drank from a Coravin, so it might not have opened up completely. Definitely a unique tasting wine as it isn’t an overpowering fruit bomb, yet it is quite complex. I suspect in several years this wine will score in the 97-98 range. Glad I purchased a few bottles.
