December 14, 2022 - Still very tannic with grippy med+/high tannins. Fruit not very prominent, black fruit, lean blackberries, black currant. Still too tight, this might not live through its tannins. 88-89

August 19, 2021 - The last of 12 bottles and probably the best. full bodies with red and mostly dark fruits with good acidity and grippy tannins. Not very complex, I was missing minerality. Slight tertiary notes, comparable to damp saddle leather and forrest floor. The wine is still in a great spot and delivers a lot of fun. Will certainly last another 2-3 years. Enjoy your bottles NOW!

March 5, 2021 - really amazing...bought at a wine store and stored in a temperature controlled environment since purchase...opened and darkened in 30 mins. cherry core, olive oil, plum, leather...nice aged super tuscan and fruit and balance were fully in tact.

June 26, 2020 - this has seen much better days - the fruit has faded to almost nothing - drink yesterday

July 23, 2017 - Dark ruby red color with classic cab bouquet. Ripe, sweet fruit that made the wine. Balanced with full body, average acid and very pleasant and pleasing finish. Medium length.

(Tenuta San Guido Guidalberto Toscana IGT) Spicy berry, sweet smoke nose; tasty, tart berry palate with good acidity; medium-plus finish (45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot, 10% Sangiovese)
