October 8, 2023 - Nasser Stein, etwas Staub und Rauch, relativ zurückhaltende gelbe Frucht. Sehr ausgewogen und gelungen!

May 15, 2023 - Drank in a lineup with '17 Hubert Lamy, Marc Colin, Joseph Colin and Ramonet, all from En Remilly.

The Lamy was the most elegant / austere of the four, with nice notes of lemon curd, butter, cream and more elegant oak use.

The Marc Colin was quite similar in style in this year, also on the elegant side. It did lack a little bit of finesse compared to the Lamy.

The Joseph Colin and especially the Ramonet showed great intensity and power (but for my taste were too broad shouldered to be fully enjoyable). The Ramonet showed some reduction, and no typical fennel / spearmint notes.

February 3, 2023 - Medium+ bodied, rounded. Lemon. Tannins are fully resolved. There’s still quite a bit of wood in the finish. that might not dissipate.

September 15, 2022 - The Colin family produce the best St Aubins! White peach, honey, tropical fruit, apricot, note of toast, papaya, soft oak, great balance and lengthy aftertaste.

April 30, 2022 - Diam cork. Medium pale straw yellow. On the nose upon opening, aromas of reductive type, struck match, slight nectarine/peach. On the palate, the attack is frank, fruity (peach, nectarine), mineral with a touch of sulphur (which blows off after the first 15 minutes or so). Butter elements and minerals on the very long slightly bitter finish. Lots of dry extract confirming previous tasting. Certainly needs some air at this point to blow off the reductive notes. Open and shoulder a couple of hours prior to tasting, or better yet, give this another 3 years. Next one in 2024 ideally. 91 today

On day 2 more citrus and nectarine
