  May 28, 2022 - Even better than my previous bottle. Opened for my birthday and everyone at the table was ‘fighting’ over getting a little bit more!

  August 29, 2021 - 15.5% abv. Dark garnet color, clear rim, plenty of long slow light red legs. Red fruit, mushroom, sage, beef and red wine reduction. Alcohol is high so it’s evidently ‘there’ but stays in background enough that it’s not distracting. Quite smooth on palate followed by splash of acid. Plums, licorice root, boysenberry, lingering Black Forest cake. Minimal tannins, quite smooth and long on finish. This is in prime drinking window IMO. Quite elegant.

  Don't understand this wine; massive overexposed nose of plum, oak, and heat. Smooth body and nice mouthfeel but ridiculous amounts of alcohol on the palate and no acidity. Some length on it.

  July 28, 2018 - Deep and opaque ruby. Dried herbs, dill, boysenberry and dark cherries. Opulent palate, with intense fruit backed by strong oak notes. Long finish.

  July 22, 2018 - Decanted the bottle, but it barley needed it. Soft opening, cherry cheesecake mid-palette, with the classic HA finish, with a hint if fig.
